Goals

I will be posting my yearly goals here as well has my ultimate goals. This will help me to stick to my goals for all the years to come.

Ultimate/long term goals:

Receive monthly dividends that will cover all my expenses for life.
Retire from 9-5 5 days a week jobs between the age of 45-50.
Have a net-worth over 1 million when I retire.
Live in different parts of the world.

2013 Goals:

Receive $200 in dividends for the year. (DONE)
Have a portfolio of $15k or greater by the end of the year. (DONE)
Have a net-worth of $45k or greater by the end of the year. (DONE)
2013 in Review

2014 Goals:

Receive over $2000 in dividends for the year.
Have a portfolio of $55k by the end of the year.
Have a net-worth of $70k by the end of the year. (Done) Here
New net-worth of $80k by the end of the year.

2015 Goals:

Receive over $3000 in dividends for the year.
Have a 12 month forward divided of $4000
Have a portfolio of $80k by the end of the year.
Have a net-worth of $150k by the end of the year.

    I note one of your 2013 goals ("have a portfolio of $15k or greater by the end of the year." ) has been met. Have you deducted the amount of your loan from the value of your portfolio? If not, you should.

      Thanks for the tip, but the loan amount has been deducted from my total net-worth. I also have a 401k and a Roth IRA. I am currently working on a page for that as well and I will update that on a monthly basis.
